Well installation
The project’s foremost aim is to drastically reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases in Malawi by providing access to clean, safe drinking water. Targeting diseases like cholera, dysentery, typhoid fever, and schistosomiasis, which are rampant and devastating in the region, the project involves installing wells in strategic locations. A particular focus is placed on schools and health facilities, as these are critical points for curbing the spread of diseases that contribute significantly to the high morbidity and mortality rates in the area.
